C4 gives Ricochet food order

Channel 4 in the UK has commissioned Warner Bros Television Production (WBITP) UK’s prodco Ricochet to make two new series, as well as a fifth run of Food Unwrapped.

What’s it Worth?, based on a WBITP Dutch format, will explore if and how the British public are being taken for a ride by businesses big and small.

Meanwhile, The Truth about Superfoods (working title) will investigate the purported health benefits of the self-proclaimed ‘superfoods.’

Food and science series Food Unwrapped sees food enthusiasts Jimmy Doherty, Kate Quilton and Matt Tebbutt travel the world to learn more about the produce people eat.

The broadcaster has also commissioned a one-hour one-off show about clairvoyants called Northern Spirit, from Lime Pictures.
