C4 crafts reality show with Lemon

UK commercial broadcaster Channel 4 has commissioned a reality series about crafts starring comedian Keith Lemon (Leigh Frances).

The Fantastical Factory of Curious Craft will pit skilful competitors against each other to create crafts of “epic proportions.”

Filmed in a factory, four contestants will be tasked with creating the epic props after receiving a brief from Lemon, who acts as the factory owner.

Quality control experts will help Lemon choose the three most impressive creations, with the worst one being “recycled.” The remaining contestants will advance to round two, where a celebrity guest will commission a new job. One of the remaining three will be named winner.

Naked Attraction presenter Anna Richardson will join Lemon to co-host the series.

Lemon is returning to his roots in The Fantastical Factory of Curious Craft, having studied art and design at Leeds College of Arts. In addition, he owns a clothing brand called KIL Clothes, which features his original designs.

Lemon rose to fame on the Channel 4 sketch show Bo’ Selecta!. He is now known for hosting panel show Celebrity Juice on ITV2, Through The Keyhole, The Keith & Paddy Picture Show and The Keith Lemon Sketch Show.
