C4 checks back into Animal Airport

Animal Airport centres on the Animal Reception Centre at London’s Heathrow Airport

Channel 4 in the UK has renewed its obs doc series Animal Airport, produced by Bristol-based indie Icon Films, for a third season.

The series, looking at the Animal Reception Centre at London’s Heathrow Airport, will return for a 13×60’ third run on the broadcaster’s channel More 4.

The show was previously produced for Discovery Networks International and the first two seasons have been sold around the world by TCB Media Rights, including deals with Network Seven in Australia and SBS Netherlands.

TCB holds distribution rights to the latest season for the world outside the UK and helped secure the deal with Channel 4’s head of daytime David Sayer.
