Bunim/Murray ready to rock

Reality TV specialist Bunim/Murray Productions is teaming up with concert promoter AEG Live and AEG Network Live for a documentary series about UK rock band Def Leppard.

The Banijay-owned prodco behind series including Keeping Up With The Kardashians and The Real World is pitching Living with Def Leppard to broadcasters in the US this week.

The series will follow the iconic band during their VIVA Hysteria! concerts, which took place at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas earlier this year.

Bunim/Murray and AEG Network Live cameras were with group members, who have been performing together for 35 years, both on and off the stage.

Jonathan Murray, chairman of Bunim/Murray Productions, said he hoped the doc had the potential to become a signature series, following other international acts around the world.

He said: “By bringing together these bands, AEG and Hard Rock Hotel, we’ve built a team that will deliver music documentary at its best.”
