Bunim Murray tees up Israeli format

Banijay Group’s Bunim Murray Productions has picked up an Israeli scripted format for the US market.

Screenz follows people’s interactions on social networks, focusing on their secrets and exploring their interaction with others.

Two seasons, totalling more than 100 episodes, have already been broadcast on Israeli satellite channel HOT.

Now Bunim Murray, the company behind shows including Keeping up with the Kardashians and Total Divas, is developing a version for the US as part of its two-year-old first-look deal with Israeli prodco The Operating Room.

“Screenz is a scripted show that looks and feels like a reality show, seamlessly blending a second-screen experience with traditional, serialised layered storytelling,” said Bunim Murray president Gil Goldschein.

No broadcaster is yet attached.
