BT adds Viacom networks

NEWS BRIEF: UK telco BT is adding MTV, Comedy Central and Nickelodeon to its BT Vision IPTV service following a deal with Viacom International Media Networks.

The pact further boosts BT’s linear TV offering, with the entertainment channels joining the likes of Universal Channel, Syfy and E! Entertainment, which it added last month; and Discovery Channel, Real Time and Animal Planet, added in November.
