Britney doc does it again for int’l channels

Framing Britney Spears was produced by The New York Times and Left/Right

Channels around the world including Nine Network in Australia, Discovery in Italy and Crave in Canada have picked up a feature documentary about the legal wrangle surrounding Britney Spears’ career.

Framing Britney Spears goes behind the scenes of the pop star’s court battle for control of her estate from her father and re-examines the media’s coverage of her over the years.

The 75-minute doc was produced by The New York Times and Left/Right, a Red Arrow Studios company, for US cablenet FX and Disney-owned streamer Hulu.

It has been picked up by Sky (UK and Ireland), Three (New Zealand), Talpa TV (the Netherlands), NRK (Norway), TV2 (Denmark), TV4 (Sweden and Finland), OSN (Middle East), Odisea/Odisseia (Spain and Portugal), HOT8 (Israel), Yes (Israel), DPG (Belgium) and Canal+ Poland from distributor Red Arrow Studios International.

In addition, TV2, Nine, Crave, Odisea/Odisseia, HOT8 and Yes have also secured the entire The Weekly: Special Edition documentary collection, of which Framing Britney Spears is a part.
