BritBox, the joint-venture streamer from UK broadcasters ITV and the BBC, has acquired the rights to several films, TV series and audio plays based on Agatha Christie books for its service in North America.

BritBox will add more seasons of Poirot and newly restored HD versions of ITV’s Marple and Partners in Crime to its offering.

Seasons nine to 12 of Poirot and special Poirot: Mysterious Affair at Styles launched on the service last week, while the restored Partners in Crime will launch in July.

Throughout the summer, BritBox will continue to unveil a range of Agatha Christie adaptations including a June line-up of Why Didn’t They Ask Evans?, The Seven Dials Mystery and Partners in Crime prequel The Secret Adversary.

The film adaptations of the novels and audio plays will also be available in the coming months.
