Breakthrough bags Farpoint duo

Medical doc My Misdiagnosis

Canadian producer and distributor Breakthrough Entertainment has acquired distribution rights to 52 hours of unscripted programming from Farpoint Films.

Breakthrough has picked up worldwide rights to docudrama Cruise Ship Killers (26×60′) and Canadian rights to medical mystery documentary My Misdiagnosis (26×60′).

Cruise Ship Killers is a true crime series that tells the stories of people who never returned home after taking a holiday on a cruise ship, featuring interviews with family, friends, investigators and experts.

My Misdiagnosis features two factual stories per episode, each told from the patient’s perspective, about receiving an incorrect diagnosis from a medical professional that was subsequently corrected by a second opinion.
