Bravo visits Salt Lake housewives

Ratings winner The Kelly Clarkson Show

NBCUniversal-owned network Bravo has added a Salt Lake City-based series to the Real Housewives franchise and is launching a show featuring reality star Stassi Schroeder.

The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City is produced by InventTV, with Michaline Babich, Sergio Alfaro and Luke Neslage as exec producers.

Meanwhile, Basically Stassi sees Schroeder – best known for her role in reality series Vanderpump Rules – entertain guests in her living room. It is produced by Evolution Media with Douglas Ross, Alex Baskin, Jeremiah Smith and Bill Langworthy exec producing.

In related news, NBCUniversal has renewed syndicated daytime programme The Kelly Clarkson Show through the 2020-2021 season, just two months after its premiere in September.

Fronted by former American Idol winner Kelly Clarkson, the hour-long daytime show is produced and distributed by NBCUniversal Domestic Television Distribution, airing on more than 200 stations in the US.

According to NBCUniversal, the series is bringing in bigger ratings than any other newcomer in daytime and had the strongest start to any new first-run strip in seven years, with an average of 1.9 million viewers per episode.

Clarkson exec produces the show, alongside Brandon Blackstock and Alex Duda.
