Bravo scripted exec joins JuVee

Viola Davis’s LA-based prodco JuVee Productions has appointed Bravo’s Andrew Wang as its head of television development and production.

Wang was VP of scripted television development and production at Bravo for four years and oversaw the US cablenet’s move into scripted series, including Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce, My So-Called Wife and Odd Mom Out.

His appointment is part of ABC’s deal with How to Get Away with Murder star Davis.

The pact sees ABC and Davis develop projects together for cable, broadcast and streamers via JuVee, working with ABC Studios and cable arm ABC Signature.

JuVee Production’s current development slate includes TNT’s Conviction.
