Boomerang to play Sex Tape, Supermodel

Armoza’s Sex Tape shows couples recordings of their lovemaking

Spanish prodco Boomerang TV has picked up factual entertainment formats Sex Tape and Curvy Supermodel from Israel’s Armoza Formats.

Sex Tape, which was developed by Armoza and runs to either 60- or 90-minute episodes, is a social experiment programme where each week three couples try to solve problems in their relationships through watching films of their lovemaking.

Reality format Curvy Supermodel, first produced by Tresor TV, follows aspiring plus-size models trying to win a modelling contract and has aired on Germany’s RTL2.

Boomerang will produce local versions of both shows, with broadcaster details yet to be revealed.

The Spanish deal marks the sixth territory Sex Tape has landed in, following its fast-track launch at MipTV in April.

Curvy Supermodel has been acquired by six countries and will make its debut in Ukraine and Poland later this year, with the latter airing both the original German version and its own remake.
