Bomanbridge shops kids’ shows in Asia

Matt Hatter Chronicles

Broadcasters in Indonesia, South Korea and India are among those to have picked up children’s programming including animation Matt Hatter Chronicles from Singapore-based firm Bomanbridge Media.

Indonesian channel ANTV picked up four seasons and the new TV movie of adventure-comedy animation Matt Hatter Chronicles, which is produced by UK indie Platinum Films.

The series, aimed at five- to 10-year-olds, is about a schoolboy whose life is changed forever when he discovers a secret universe where he must battle powerful supervillains.

Meanwhile, Global TV Indonesia has acquired two seasons of kids’ gameshow Splatalot, while EBS in South Korea has picked up three seasons of tween live-action sci-fi series Eve.

The shows are sold by content distribution and production agency Bomanbridge, which has also agreed deals with Jei TV South Korea.

Jei took kids’ series from Canuck prodco Sinking Ship Entertainment including Scout & the Gumboot Kids, while Sun TV India and Bangladesh Renaissance have picked up an array of Care Bears series from American Greetings.
