Boelhouwer leaves Endemol Shine

Endemol Shine Group has reshuffled the senior management of its Netherlands business, with co-CEO Iris Boelhouwer stepping down from the firm.

Boelhouwer’s co-CEO Boudewijn Beusmans will become sole CEO of Endemol Shine Netherlands from the end of October, in addition to his ongoing role as chairman of Northern Europe for Endemol Shine Group.

Boelhouwer is leaving to focus on personal projects, according to a statement from Endemol Shine this morning.

She first joined Endemol in 2005 and held various senior positions including executive producer and creative director in the Netherland, then MD of creative operations globally. She has been helping to lead the Netherlands arm for the past three years.

Beusmans said: “Endemol Shine Netherlands has always been a hotbed for innovation and creativity in Europe and I am grateful to Iris for having been my partner throughout these years in getting the business back to its leading position creatively.

“With the right structure in place, I now look forward to continue working closely with our management team as we prepare ourselves for this next phase of growth.”
