Blue Ant has Handel on Mipcom

Who Sank the Titanic?

Blue Ant International will be bringing a slate featuring 330 hours of new programming to Mipcom this month, boosted by its recent acquisition of Handel Productions’ library.

The Canadian firm recently took over all distribution activities for Handel’s library of 30-plus production, including documentaries Who Sank the Titanic? (1×90′), Inside the Titanic (1×90′), Naked Science (20×60′) and Last Day of the Dinosaurs (1×68′).

Also on Blue Ant’s Mipcom slate are the documentary series Witches of Salem (4×60′) and Cheating Hitler: Surviving the Last Holocaust (1×90’/2×60′), plus specialist factual programmes including Big Cat Country (6×60′) and the scripted adult animation series Bigfoot (6×22’/12×11′).

Blue Ant International has also added three kids’ series to its portfolio: current events programme News of the Wild II (71×30′); Kids Cookout (8×7′), in which kids cook dishes that are important to their heritage; and the animated series Jelly Jamm (76×11’/1×22′), which follows friends on musical journeys.

“Blue Ant International takes great care to work with production partners around the world to curate a diverse slate of some of the best premium content available so buyers get the most watchable series around,” says Solange Attwood, executive VP at Blue Ant International.
