Blue Ant entertains Singapore

Singaporean telco Singtel has picked up entertainment channel Blue Ant Entertainment following a deal with Canada’s Blue Ant Media.

The partnership will see the content from the Canadian entertainment channel available to subscribers via Singtel TV and the Singtel TV Go mobile app from December 23.

The catalogue picked up by Singtel includes: hit series Star Trek: Discovery and FBI; talk shows The Late Show with Stephen Colbert and Late Late Show with James Corden; and reality content such as the UK X Factor and First Dates.

Beatrice Lee, CEO of Blue Ant Media Asia Pacific, said: “We are delighted to launch Blue Ant Entertainment on Singtel, offering Singaporean viewers more ways to enjoy Blue Ant Media’s diverse suite of programming.”

It follows yesterday’s roll out of Blue Ant Channels in Africa via Beijing-based pay-TV operator StarTimes.
