Blue Ant commits to more true crime

Blue Ant’s true-crime series include See No Evil season five

The distribution arm of Canada’s Blue Ant Media has added 19 new titles to its catalogue, including three true-crime series.

Blue Ant International (BAI) will be at MipTV in Cannes next month with the newly acquired shows, which include BTK: A Killer Among Us (2×60′), Fred & Rose West: House of Horrors (1×60′) and the fifth season of See No Evil (16×60′).

BAI, which counts over 3,500 hours of programming in its catalogue, will also shop new factual entertainment series, new documentaries and four new nature and wildlife programmes.

Examples of the latter are Turtle Beach (1×60′), from Renegade Pictures and Merit Entertainment, which reveals the complete story of a turtle nest for the first time, from initial egg-laying to the final hatching.

Dogs with Extraordinary Jobs (5×60′), meanwhile, comes from Oxford Scientific Films and showcases how certain canines’ natural abilities are being harnessed to improve lives.
