Bigger role for Begg at Kew

The distribution arm of Kew Media Group (KMG) has promoted its VP of business development and producer relations to a newly created role at the company.

Graham Begg has been upped to senior VP of acquisitions and business development at Kew Media Distribution (KMD).

In his new role, Begg will oversee a broad portfolio of acquisition opportunities, spanning scripted, non-scripted, documentary and factual entertainment properties, as well as advise on corporate activities and business development initiatives.

Begg will continue to work closely with KMG’s 13 production companies on collaboration opportunities with KMD and further exploiting the IP of those companies globally.

The exec joined KMD in 2018 having previously provided consultancy, advisory, business affairs and executive producer services to the entertainment industry via GB Media & Entertainment Consultants.

Before establishing the consultancy business in 1999, he served as head of film finance at Content Media Corporation, which is now known as Kew Media Distribution.
