Big Time Decent hires Kinnon for factual

Vancouver-based Big Time Decent Productions (BTD) has hired Jeffrey Kinnon in the newly created role of VP of factual.

The documentary veteran was most recently a series producer on Great Pacific Television duo Mud Mountain (Discovery) and High Arctic Haulers (CBC).

As VP of factual, Kinnon will manage BTD’s slate and create and maintain relationships with creatives and talent.

BTD’s latest series, Backroad Truckers, will debut on factual channel History Canada later this year. The company was launched last November by factual and reality producer Matt Shewchuk.

Shewchuk said: “We’re excited to have Jeff on our team. His creative reputation is stellar and his ability to run difficult productions on location is a great match for us.”
