Big Brother winner to host NBC's Love Shack

US network NBC has named the winner of Big Brother 2 as the host of the network's new reality show Love Shack.

Will Kirby's appointment as host of Love Shack (6×60'), marks his first professional television job. The media attention he garnered on CBS' Big Brother while earning the nickname Dr Evil, and his subsequent victory on the show, has made Kirby a household name.

Produced by Lighthearted Entertainment and NBC Studios, Love Shack will run after established gameshow Dog Eat Dog on August 26 at 21:00. The new show will then run on Tuesdays at 20:00 throughout September.

Love Shack, which had the working title Single Guys, will follow one single man and one single woman who move into a Southern California mansion on a quest to find true love. The two singles will be introduced to two members of the opposite sex who they will live with and date for four days.
