UK- and Australia-based sales and production outfit Beyond Distribution has unveiled its Mipcom shows with series from the producers of Highway Thru Hell and an animated kids programme leading its slate.

Heavy Rescue: 401 (9×60’) is from Canada’s Great Pacific Media and focuses on the unique challenges and difficult working conditions endured by heavy rescue vehicles on the world’s busiest highways.

Beyond’s factual slate also includes the first three seasons of Carnival Eats (39×30’), which showcases the outrageous foods found at carnivals across North America.

Former Masterchef Australia winner Brent Owens will also be appearing at the event to launch his series Brent Owens: Extreme, Authentic & Unwrapped (13×30’). It follows the chef as he experiences extreme and authentic foods in South Africa.

Meanwhile the firm’s Mipcom Junior slate is led by Fanshaw & Crudnut, which is receiving its worldwide launch prior to appearing on 9Go! in Australia.

The show’s coproduced by Blue Rocket Productions and Beyond Screen Productions. It’s aimed at 6- to 9-year-olds and charts the lives of two badly behaved bickering slugs from outer space.

Also on the slate is CBBC series All Over the Workplace (10×30’), which follows children as they experience their dream jobs.
