Beyond Distribution is heading to MipTV with the second season of an extreme underwater adventure and a new factual show that follows a Canadian presenter and his family as they plan and build a new home.

Produced by Untamed Productions for Evasion Canada, Chasing Monsters S2 (12×60’) sees extreme adventurer Cyril Chauquet braving the piranha-infested waters of the Amazon, diving with a giant shark in the Bahamas and hunting for Africa’s largest freshwater fish.

The first season has been sold to more than 120 territories and many broadcasters have acquired both series, including Netflix; BBC Worldwide (EMEA); Discovery Sweden, Italy and Latin America; AETN Asia; Prima Czech Republic; and TVNZ New Zealand.

Moving the McGillivrays (10×60’), meanwhile, is from Canadian producer/presenter Scott McGillivray’s new prodco McGillivray Entertainment and was commissioned by HGTV Canada.

McGillivray hosts HGTV Canada home DIY series Income Property, also distributed by Beyond Distribution. The new series follows Scott and his wife as they build their dream home while helping another family to build theirs.

Income Property (116×30’ or 41×60’) has been acquired by Foxtel in Australia, Sky Italia, Mediaset in Spain, National Geographic Channels Italy, Chello Central Europe and the African Business Channel.

The shows form part of the Beyond slate for MipTV which takes place in Cannes in the first week of April.
