Berry Bees take flight in Italy, Oz

MIPCOM: Broadcasters in Italy and Australia have boarded a forthcoming animated spy action series coproduced by local prodcos alongside firms in Europe and Asia.

Berry Bees (52×11′) comes from Italy’s Atlantyca Entertainment, Australia’s SLR Productions, Ireland’s Telegael and Singapore- and India-based studio Cosmos-Maya.

Cosmos-Maya will handle distribution across Asia, SLR Productions will shop the series in Australia and New Zealand, Telegael will distribute in Ireland and the UK, and Atlantyca Entertainment will handle sales in the rest of the world.

Berry Bees follows three school-age girls who have been selected by the B.I.A. (Bee Intelligence Agency) for special spy missions in which only child agents can be used.
