Bento Box opens up to new recruits

Adult animation specialist Bento Box Entertainment has appointed two senior executives as part of its efforts to increase its content output across all platforms.

Brooke Keesling

Brooke Keesling has been appointed to the newly created role of head of animation talent development and Caitlin Winiarski joins as a creative executive.

In her new position, Keesling will be responsible for the development and growth of artistic talent acquisition and internal artist relations. She will report to Bento Box chief operating officer Brett Coker.

Keesling has worked in the animation and VFX industries for decades as an artist, in production, education and in talent development. Over the years, she has recruited animation talent for Cartoon Network, Disney Television Animation and Warner Bros, among others.

Winiarsk will seek out and assess pilot proposals, scripts and pitches and identify relevant source material from established and emerging talent for development. She will report to Bento Box creative director Ben Jones.

Caitlin Winiarski

Prior to joining Bento Box, Winiarski served as creative executive in television at Will Ferrell and Adam McKay’s Gary Sanchez Productions, where she focused on developing projects from up-and-coming and diverse comedic voices. She also held the role of executive assistant at US comedy prodco Funny or Die.

Both execs will be based at Bento Box’s Los Angeles headquarters. The company, recently acquired by Fox Entertainment, is is behind series including Bob’s Burgers.

Scott Greenberg, Bento Box’s co-founder and CEO, said: “As we strategically grow our output to broadcast, cable and streaming platforms, Brooke and Caitlin’s unique backgrounds, long-standing relationships and creative vision will play an important role in keeping Bento Box the premier destination for established and up-and-coming talent to do their best work.”
