Be-Entertainment takes Telly Test

Telly Test is based on a format created by Dutch indie PilotStudio

Belgian distributor Be-Entertainment has agreed to represent entertainment series Telly Test internationally and will introduce the format to buyers at Natpe Budapest International this month.

Based on an original idea from Dutch indie PilotStudio, the format involves two teams of comedians watching TV clips from the previous week and answering questions about them.

The PilotStudio-produced version launched in Belgium in 2014, with Medialaan-owned network VTM airing five seasons to date. RTL4 in the Netherlands has also aired five seasons.

Gepke Nederlof, MD of Be-Entertainment, also owned by Medialaan, highlighted the format’s “strong track record” in Belgium and the Netherlands.
