BBCWW makes China showcase sales

Four Chinese broadcasters have picked up more than 300 hours of BBC Worldwide (BBCWW) content at the UK pubcaster’s annual showcase in Beijing.

Shanghai Media Group, state broadcaster CCTV, DOXTV and Wingsmedia have all taken packages of natural history and factual content from the corporation’s commercial arm, BBCWW.

Titles sold include David Beckham: Into the Unknown, in which the footballer and three of his closest friends travel to Brazil for a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Museum Secrets, which visits some of the world’s most extraordinary museums to discover the strange secrets behind some of their artefacts; and Horizon, the long-running BBC science documentary programme, are also included.
