BBC Worldwide (BBCWW) has postponed the live events that were due to take place in Norway next week following presenter Jeremy Clarkson’s ‘fracas’ with producer Oisin Tymon.

The dates will be rescheduled for later in the year with all other Top Gear Live events set to go ahead as planned at present, BBCWW said in a statement.

The show is one of the company’s best-selling brands, but Clarkson hinted he could leave last week after allegedly punching Tymon in an argument over meal provision.

The pubcaster had already suspended Clarkson and axed the remaining episodes of the current season, and has completed an internal investigation into the incident with a decision over the presenter’s future expected this week.

Clarkson launched a foul-mouthed attack on the corporation at a charity event in London last week, saying they had ruined the programme and claiming he was about to be sacked.
