BBC3 ready to Face the Consequences

Face The Consequences looks at subjects including binge drinking

BBC3 in the UK has commissioned a shortform factual series that brings young people face to face with those who have been affected by their actions.

Face the Consequences (5×6’) is being produced for the online-only channel by UK indie The Connected Set.

Episodes include showing YouTube celebrities the shocking results of attempts to recreate their ‘pain challenge’ videos, and binge drinkers hearing from individuals whose lives have been changed by drinking to excess.

The health risks of dangerous beauty habits and the consequences of careless driving are also examined.

Airing this summer, the show is executive produced by Jason Mitchell for The Connected Set and was commissioned by Laura Marks at BBC3.

The Connected Set has previously produced Stacey Dooley Investigates: Gypsy Kids Taken from Home (1×45’) and a host of other long- and shortform content for BBC3, as well as How to be a Young Billionaire for Channel 4.
