BBC3 extends Angels of the North

NEWS BRIEF: UK online-only channel BBC3 has greenlit a second season of its observational documentary series Angels of the North from Brighton-based indie Twenty Six 03 Entertainment.

The 10×15’ series focuses on a hair extension salon in the North East of England and premiered on BBC3 via BBC iPlayer in December last year. The second run has been commissioned by Kate Phillips, controller of entertainment commissioning, and Fiona Campbell, controller of BBC3.
