BBC1 goes shopping at RDF Television

UK pubcaster the BBC has ordered a third season of consumer series Shop Well For Less from local prodco RDF Television.

The 4×60’ series, which helps families reduce shopping costs without compromising on lifestyle, is being produced by Banijay Group-owned RDF’s West branch.

It is presented by The One Show’s Alex Jones and BBC Breakfast business correspondent Steph McGovern, and airs on flagship channel BBC1.

Jo Scarratt-Jones, head of popular factual at RDF West, will exec produce the series, which was ordered by BBC1 commissioning editor Catherine Catton.

Banijay Rights holds international rights to the format and finished programmes.
