BBC, Spun Gold explore Country Life

BBC2 in the UK has commissioned a three-part series going behind the scenes of Country Life magazine.

London-based indie Spun Gold is working on Inside Country Life (3×60’) with recent arrival Jane Treays producing and directing.

Treays is known for her work on BBC2’s Inside Claridges and will now turn her attention to life at one of the UK’s most iconic magazines.

The magazine is 117 years old and celebrates traditional British traditions, pass times and countryside.

The programme was commissioned by Emma Willis, head of commissioning for documentaries at BBC1, BBC2 and BBC4. Nick Bullen, MD at Spun Gold, will be the executive producer.
