BBC, S4C show Faith in drama

The BBC and Welsh broadcaster S4C have co-commissioned an eight-part thriller to be produced in both English and Welsh languages.

Un Bore Mercher (Keeping Faith) tells the story of a lawyer, wife and mother fighting to find the truth behind the sudden disappearance of her husband.

The show, which is being funded through the Welsh government’s Media Investment Budget, starts production this month and will premiere in the autumn as Un Bore Mercher on Hinterland broadcaster S4C. English version Keeping Faith will air on BBC1 Wales early next year.

The series is being co-written by Matthew Hall (Kavanagh QC) and Anwen Huws (Gwaith Cartref) and is produced by UK-based Vox Pictures.
