BBC onboard Korean copro

BBC2 has commissioned a four-part series about plants from London-based indie Oxford Scientific Films (OSF) and a Korean coproducer.

Carol Klein’s Plant Odysseys (4×30’) is being worked on by OSF and Paan Media in South Korea and explores the botanical history of four garden plants: the rose, the tulip, the iris and the water lily.

Due to air this spring, the show is fronted by gardening expert Klein and was ordered by head of commissioning for factual features and formats Alison Kirkham.

The BBC’s commercial arm, BBC Worldwide, is handling international distribution.
