BBC News Persian TV adds All3 docs

Swan Films’ The Last Igloo

BBC News Persian TV has acquired seven documentary specials and series from All3Media International.

The network broadcasts news and docs to audiences in Iran, Afghanistan and Tajikistan.

The shows in the deal include The Last Igloo, Swan Films’ 90-minute film for BBC4, which explores the craft of igloo-building by an Inuit hunter in Greenland, and Raw TV’s 60-minute special Bollywood: The World’s Biggest Film Industry (BBC2).

Also from Raw TV are Chris Packham: Asperger’s & Me (1×60’, BBC2), two-part special Drowning in Plastic (BBC1), Meat: A Threat to Our Planet? (1×60’, BBC1) and Nadiya: Anxiety & Me (1×60’, BBC1).

The final programme in the deal is Lion TV’s The Victorian House of Arts & Crafts (4×60’, BBC2).
