BBC claims Clark from All3’s Lion

The BBC has appointed the director of factual at All3Media-owned Lion TV to oversee formats and features commissioning on a temporary basis.

Donna Clark joins the UK pubcaster on July 13 as acting head of formats and features and will cover for Alison Kirkham for 12 months.

Kirkham is moving across to become acting controller of factual commissioning in place of Emma Swain, who is in turn overseeing the BBC’s digital proposals as the broadcaster prepares for its charter renewal in 2016.

Clark, who was promoted to her current role at Lion in March, has worked on shows including Young Soldiers for BBC3, Transplant for BBC1 and Kew on a Plate for BBC2 while at Lion.
