Bavaria Media confirms Lammek as MD

German production company Bavaria Media has appointed a new MD, following the announcement that founder and current incumbent Rolf Mosser will step down at the end of the month.

Marc Lammek has been confirmed in the role having been MD-in-waiting since February as part of the company’s leadership succession structure. Lammek joined Bavaria as chief operating officer in 2016.

Lammek said: “Over the past three years, Rolf has assisted me with his great expertise and a high degree of collegiality. I would like to thank him for his confidence and the very good cooperation. Rolf leaves a well-ordered house. It is a great pleasure for me to now be able to carry that responsibility. In doing so, I also rely a lot on the great team of Bavaria Media. Let’s get started!”

Moser said: “My successor, Marc Lammek, has already done excellent leadership work in the past three years. I know that Bavaria Media is in the very best hands with him.”
