Station groups including Nexstar Media Group, Sinclair Broadcast Group, Weigel Broadcasting, Scripps, Gray Television, Tegna, Meredith and Mission Broadcasting have all joined launch group CBS Television Stations in airing the show from this fall. CBS stations WCBS-TV in New York and KCBS-TV in Los Angeles are on board.

“The response from the station community has been overwhelming,” said Jonathan Bingaman, executive VP of sales at CTD. “Stations have really stepped up to support The Drew Barrymore Show and we can’t wait to bring the show to life this fall.”

The show was launched to Natpe Miami buyers on Tuesday night, where Barrymore (Charlie’s Angels) said she would try to bring kindness, positivity and some laughs to the daytime talkshow scene.

“Drew is a huge star and a breath of fresh air – her show will energise any station’s line-up,” said Steve LoCascio, chief operating and financial officer of CBS Global Distribution Group. The Drew Barrymore Show will be produced and distributed by CTD, with Barrymore, Chris Miller and Ember Truesdell executive producing.
