The top tier of the leadership team at Banijay Zodiak Nordic Group was announced yesterday, with Jacob Houlind, CEO of Banijay-owned Nordisk Film TV, being appointed CEO.

Houlind has now announced further senior executive roles at the group, which consists of 12 different companies spread across Norway, Denmark, Sweden and Finland.

Hansen, the chief creative officer at Nordisk Film TV in Denmark, has taken the same role with the new group, with Spodsberg, his colleague at Nordisk Film TV, taking the role of group chief operating officer.

Ulrick Holmstrup will become deputy Nordic Group chief creative officer and MD of Mastiff Denmark.

“Through our newly combined group we will invest even more into creativity. With joined forces, and together with our innovative and future oriented clients, we will make sure the Nordics will be a place to look for new exciting content and formats in the future,” said Hansen.

“All creatives will remain independent and continue their impressive work, but we will aim to create a strong Nordic community where we will build our new exciting future together.”

Banijay Zodiak Nordic Group comprises Nordisk Film TV Denmark, Mastiff Denmark, Jarowskij Sweden, Mastiff Sweden, Mastiff Norway, Nordisk Film TV Norway, Nordisk Film TV Sweden, Banijay Finland, Zodiak Finland, Pineapple, Respirator and Yellow Bird.
