Stacey Dooley Investigates: The Whale Hunters

Banijay Rights and UK-based factual prodco Chatterbox have signed a first-look deal giving the Banijay Group distribution arm exclusive access to Chatterbox content.

The first title in the deal is BBC3 documentary Stacey Dooley Investigates: The Whale Hunters. The factual title follows the TV presenter as she investigates whale killings across Norway and the Faroe Islands.

This new agreement is a result of Banijay Rights’ collaboration with the Indielab growth accelerator, which helps independent production companies achieve scale and develop their businesses.

Chatterbox joins Banijay’s growing group of indie production partners including Firecrest Films, Proper Content, Storyboard and FirstLook TV.

Chatterbox was founded by senior creatives former Channel 4 factual entertainment commissioning editor Nav Raman and Ali Quirk.
