Psychologist Linda Papadopoulos in Inside the Mind of a Serial Killer

Banijay Rights and UK indie FirstLook TV are to co-develop and co-finance a slate of crime-themed factual series for broadcasters worldwide.

Under the agreement, which covers a maximum of 10 titles, Banijay Rights will invest in research, sizzles and pilots and create tasters for broadcasters and platforms before they commit to a full series.

This will allow Banijay Rights, the distribution arm of Banijay Group, and FirstLook TV to produce true crime content without waiting for a commission.

In related news, US cablenet Reelz has picked up the first and second seasons of FirstLook TV’s factual series Inside the Mind of a Serial Killer from Banijay Rights.

The 20×60′ series has already been sold to Netflix, Discovery UK, UKTV’s Really channel, Foxtel and The Justice Network.
