Banijay Asia options The Four in India

The Four is already set to be adapted in countries including Lithuania

India has become the latest country to pick up singing competition format The Four after Banijay Asia acquired the local adaptation rights from Israel’s Armoza Formats.

The announcement follows on from last month’s news that the show was to be adapted in Lithuania by broadcaster LNK TV. It has also been optioned by commercial broadcaster ANT1 in Greece and licensed to Record TV in Brazil.

The Four names its finalists in the first episode and then challenges them to keep their places ahead of talented candidates looking to steal their spot.
