UK indie Back2Back’s The World’s Deadliest Weather

BBC Earth and Discovery Italy are among the international broadcasters to have picked up a factual series on extreme weather conditions from UK-based funding and distribution outfit Drive.

The World’s Deadliest Weather is produced by UK indie Back2Back and the third 13×60’ season has also been sold by Drive to ProSiebenSat.1 in Germany and Mediacorp in Singapore.

Science et Vie TV in France has taken the show’s second season and Drive had previously secured sales of the earlier runs to 5Spike in the UK, Seven Network in Australia and Discovery Australia and New Zealand.

Meanwhile, Drive has also sold Back2Back’s police body camera show Body Cam Cops to Japanese broadcaster Nippon TV and the second season of user-generated content show The World’s Deadliest Drivers to Mediacorp.
