Mega Shippers is set for a third run

Australian free-to-air broadcaster Seven Network has commissioned an eight-part factual series about wedding disasters from UK indie Back2Back Productions.

Outrageous Weddings (8×60′) is part documentary, part clip show, documenting things that have gone wrong at weddings, from missing grooms to vomiting vicars.

Due to be delivered in December, the series is exec produced by Back2Back founder and MD David Notman-Watt, produced by Ben Cole and distributed by Tinopolis-owned Passion Distribution.

In related news, Discovery-owned Quest in the UK and Discovery Germany have ordered a third season of Mega Shippers from Back2Back.

As with the first two seasons, the third 10×60′ season of Mega Shippers reveals the complex inner workings of the world’s shipping industry.

Season three is due to be delivered in the second quarter of 2020. It is exec produced by Rob Holloway for Quest, along with Notman-Watt and Stef Wagstaffe. Chris Barnham produces the series, which is distributed by Hat Trick International.
