Autentic sells factual to Euro nets

MIPCOM: Canal+ in Poland and Swiss pubcaster SRF are among the international channels to have picked up factual content from German sales house Autentic Distribution.

Canal+ has bought a package of crime and lifestyle programmes, including seasons one and two of Mafia Queens (10×50’), plus Labo M’s surfing series Chicks on Boards (2×52’) and Fleischmann Film’s Stereotypes (10×30’), about European clichés.

SRF has taken 15 hours, including Chicks on Boards (5×30’) and Biking Boom (3×30’) by Kobaldt Productions.

Elsewhere, Catalan broadcaster TVC has acquired a package of lifestyle and travel programmes, including doc.station’s Grand Tour de Suisse (3×45’) and Prounen’s Dreams of the Settlers – An American Journey (3×45’).

Italian pubcaster Rai has picked up a 15-hour package of people and culinary programmes. As well as Stereotypes (10×30’), it includes doc.station’s Pomegranate & Chestnuts (4×30’) and Tangram’s Wilderness in Europe: The Bohemian Forest (2×45’).

An extensive science and nature slate has been sold to Russia’s 1 HDTV, containing the blue-chip wildlife series The Wild Andes (3×52’) by Light & Shadow, Autentic factual entertainment series Raising Wildlife (10×30’), Hoferichter & Jacobs’ Cyborgs: Human Machines (45’) and Black Holes: Messages from the Edge of the Universe (52’).
