Autentic combines sales, production

German factual specialist Autentic is bringing its production unit and programme sales team together at its headquarters in Munich.

Mirjam Strasser

As part of the move, Mirjam Strasser, who joined last year from Sky Vision, will be promoted to head of sales and acquisitions at Autentic Distribution and will start in the role on January 1, 2020.

She succeeds Isabelle Helle, who took over the management on an interim basis as general manager earlier this year. Anne Hufnagel was head of sales until the middle of 2019.Strasser will continue to be responsible for all sales into German-speaking regions.

Andreas Martin

From November 1, Andreas Martin will take over the management and expansion of Autentic Production in a newly created role. He is joining from production company Bilderfest GmbH where he worked as supervising producer.

Following the merger of Autentic Production and Distribution – which are part of Beta Film-owned Autentic GmbH – the company will have 18 permanent employees at its Munich headquarters.
