Austria, Iran link up for wildlife doc

MIPCOM: Austrian and Iranian broadcasters have shaken hands on a new wildlife documentary coproduction.

Pubcaster ORF and prodco Interspot Film from Austria and Iranian state television service IRIB are the main partners on Wild Iran – The Desert Phantom.

The doc will feature some of Iran’s most elusive wildlife, including cheetahs, gazelles, leopards and golden eagles. The film will be available in 2017, distributed by ORF-Enterprise.
