Asian nets go for Bomanbridge lifestyle

On The Go was acquired by Thai pubcaster True Visions

National Geographic Asia, the Philippines’ ABS-CBN and  channels operator A+E Networks are among the South-East Asian broadcasters to have picked up lifestyle titles from Singaporean distributor and prodco Bomanbridge Media.

Nat Geo Asia has acquired the 10-part John Torode’s Korean Food Tour, a coproduction with the UK’s Denhams TV, UKTV and Korea’s Hyundai Media broadcast arm. The show tracks the celebrity chef on his culinary adventures around South Korea.

ABS-CBN also took the cookery show, which is distributed by Bomanbridge and Argonon International, along with UK prodco Windfall Films’ My Floating Home, which follows families building their ultimate waterside residences.

A+E Networks bought season three and four of lifestyle travel show Top Travel, which claims to reveal the most desirable features of global travel and entertainment.

Thai pubcaster True Visions picked up On The Go, which follows presenter and former Miss Great Britain Amy Kitchingman in her quest to discover fun and healthy vacation spots in the Middle East.

The sales follow Bomanbridge’s other recent Asian deals, which saw natural history documentary Atlantic: Fire in the Ocean sold into Thailand and South Korea.
