Asian broadcasters bag Red Arrow shows

Iwonder has acquired The Weekly

Broadcasters across Asia have acquired unscripted titles from Red Arrow Studios International.

South Korean pubcaster KBS has picked up music-themed social experiment format Don’t Stop the Music (3×57’), produced by Artemis Media for ABC in Australia.

Also in South Korea, Creo Contents has acquired both seasons of Old People’s Home for 4 Year Olds (7×47’, 2×47’ specials), produced by Red Arrow’s CPL Productions for Channel 4 in the UK.

The format’s UK, Spanish and Australian adaptations, meanwhile, have been picked up by free TV channel Hong Kong Open TV for Hong Kong and Macau.

Elsewhere in Hong Kong and Macau, TVB has acquired the UK version of dementia-themed social experiment series The Restaurant that Makes Mistakes (4×47’), produced by CPL and Motion Content Group.

Finally, in Hong Kong, RTHK has picked up the original UK version of topical fact ent series Meat the Family (3×47’), produced by Spun Gold TV for Channel 4.

Meanwhile, Asian current affairs streaming platform iwonder has acquired The Weekly, produced by The New York Times and Red Arrow’s Left/Right for FX and Hulu in the US.
