Asia, NZ nets bag Blue Ant shows

Aboriginal Peoples Television Network picked up Arctic Secrets

Broadcasters in Asia and Australasia are amongst those to have picked up programming from Canada’s Blue Ant International.

Scripps Networks Interactive in Asia has acquired DIY wedding show Post My Party (13×30’ HD) from General Purpose Entertainment and Holiday Makeover (6×30’ HD), produced by Blue Ant Media.

Discovery Networks in New Zealand and Benelux has acquired I’ve Got Something To Tell You (6×60’ HD) from Zig Zag Productions, which sees guests telling a host their intimate thoughts.

Foxtel in Australia has picked up The Weapon Hunter (12×60’ HD) from Cream Productions and ghost-hunting series Haunted Case Files (13×60’ HD) from Our House Media. Czech commercial channel FTV Prima has added series including doomsday scenario show How The World Ends (6×60’ HD), which is produced by CMJ Productions.

Other deals include Société Radio-Canada’s acquisition of season six of Hope for Wildlife, which is produced by Arcadia Entertainment and features Hope Swinimer and her staff of volunteers as they rescue, rehabilitate and release animals.

Finally, Canadian cablenet Aboriginal Peoples Television Network has picked up two seasons of wildlife series Arctic Secrets (8×60’) which explores the region through aerial panoramic shots and was produced by White Pine Pictures.
