AS Roma, Maker team up for online

Italian football club AS Roma is collaborating with Disney’s Maker Studios to create original content online and partner with gaming and sports talent.

The club is keen to grow its presence online and will work with Maker’s network of YouTubers to attract new fans.

The two organisations have already collaborated on content for AS Roma’s YouTube channel with talent such as iNoobChannel from the Illuminati Crew.

Maker Studios, which was acquired by Disney in 2014 for US$500m, expanded its global presence by moving into Milan in September. It now claims to be the global leader in short-form video and the world’s largest content network on YouTube.
